May 14th, 2020 | Fundraiser | Donation | Hors D'oeurves | Dessert | Charcuterie
Empty Bowls is a yearly event and the only fundraiser for St Vincent de Paul’s dining hall in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. The Future Leaders Board for Catholic Community Service took over the planning of the event. It was held in the courtyard at FFKR Architects. There was a beautiful Charcuterie Board Table; passed hors d’oeurves such as Cornbread & Pulled Pork Shooters, Brushetta, Pasta Shooters, and Fruit Skewers, and then a delicious dessert table with Magleby’s Chocolate Cake, Raspberry & Nutella Cheesecake Squares, and Fresh Berries and Creme to top it all off!
“I wanted to positively help the community that I live in. I made a cold call to Magleby’s about catering and donating food for the event on a recommendation. I was shocked by the response that I got back so quickly. They were willing to donate the cost of the food. Empty Bowls event was a completely elevated event. Magleby’s team came in and completely changed it. They brought in an amazing spread of food. The team is the best to work with. My phone call to Maglebys has brought me life long friends.”
